These are used to separate solids from liquids using centrifugal force. They are used on water soluble coolants since they will not work on oil. Our large cone is a full ceramic cone with a capacity of 20 gallons per minute. They can be manifolded together to achieve higher gallons per minute, up to 240 gallons per minute. They can achieve 7 to 10 micron separation in steel at approximately 95% efficiency. Most hydrocyclones are applied to grinding operations, but they will work on chip making equipment when used as a final filter, after the bulk of the chips are removed by conveyors or other means.

Our smaller hydrocyclone is plastic with either a plastic nozzle or ceramic. They have a capacity of 5 gallons per minute. They also can be manifolded together to provide higher gallon per minute capacity. They can achieve down to 5 micron separation in steel at almost 95% efficiency.

We carry three standard widths; 20", 27" and 40". We have an extensive inventory; from 10 micron to 80 micron. We also carry a type of filter media specifically for oil. If needed, we can also special cut to your dimension. Our suppliers can meet almost any requirements with short turn around. Our media is imprinted with our part number and phone number, to make reordering much easier. All of our rolls come with a 3" core with a reducer plug to allow for a 1" round bar. There is no minimum quantity to purchase, and each roll is individually wrapped in plastic for protection in shipment.

We carry a selection of filter bags. The bags are all trade size 1, as those are the vessels we use on some of our systems. They range in micron size from 1 micron to 200 microns. The bags have polypropylene collars to fit into most bag filter housings. Handles are molded into the collar to assist in removal of the contaminated bag.

We also carry a limited selection of filter cartridges. 10 micron and 60 micron are currently in stock. The cartidges are for Parker cartridge housings for single cartridges. Please call for dimensional specifics
